About the Club

The club is the focal point for Amateur Radio activities on the Central Coast of NSW.

The CCARC was formed in 1957. The club has it’s own clubrooms with a well-equipped radio room (shack). We also operate several Voice, Amateur Television and Packet (data) repeaters.

The CCARC organises the biggest Hamfest in Australia, each February at Wyong Race Course.

The club supports WICEN, the Police Youth and Citizens Club’s Amateur Radio room at Umina, and the annual Scout and Guides Jamboree Of The Air (JOTA) held in October.
