Central Coast Amateur Radio Club Annual Field Day
After the huge success of the 2009 Field Day, the CCARC Field Day for 2010 will be held on:

Where
Once again we plan to have the CCARC Hamfest held at the Wyong Race Course on the Central Coast. For directions by road go to our directions page.
When
Sunday 28 February 2010. Gates open at 6:30am. Flea market open from 6:30am. Traders open at 9:00am.
Entry fee
Admission remains the same as last year $10.00 per person with persons younger than 17 years of age free.
Traders and Exhibitors
The traders and exhibitors area will open to the public for trading from 9:00am on Sunday. Access to this area before then will be restricted to CCARC Field Day officials and authorised traders. Application forms and conditions can be downloaded from the documents page.
Fleamarket
For those who wish to sell their own equipment, open boot or tailgate sales may be conducted in the Fleamarket. No bookings needed, just turn up on the day. Setup and trading from 6:30am. Cost is $20.00 per space in addition to admission fees. No trestles will be available for the Fleamarket.
Note that the Fleamarket is not under cover, and as such traders in the Fleamarket may need to provide protection for their display in the case of adverse weather.

Field Day Dinner
Our Centenary Dinner is in association with Amateur Radio NSW, and will be held at the WYONG Bowling Club on Saturday evening on the 27 February 2010, commencing at 1800 hours. The cost is $25 per head, and will be a single two course buffet.

Radio Station VK2WFD
The club Amateur Radio Station (VK2WFD) will be operating VHF on the Field Day.
Monster Raffle
We have prizes of a Tecsan PL pocket sized short wave receiver donated by AV-COMM Satellite TV Specialists, and Soldering Station from Ludatronics, a Q5 QRP Kit donated by Genesis Radio, a TZ-1840 HF 1KW High Power Balun by Rippletech Electronics, and three pairs of communications head phones supplied by Emtronics. Parking
There is a large car park within the grounds of the racecourse. In the event of extended wet weather some of the internal car park may be cordoned off by the Race Club to prevent damage to the surface, thus restricting the available parking spaces. There is additional parking in the nearby streets and at Wyong Railway Station car park which is on both sides of Wyong Railway Station 150M to the south of the race course entrance.
Catering
As usual the free tea, coffee and chat area will operate but this time in a new bigger location commencing at 9:30am. The various food outlets providing hot and cold sit down or take away food will also operate as usual. The Ground floor bistro will be open early Sunday morning for early arrivals and can be accessed from the car park Bistro entrance.Calls Present
Bring your QSL cards for the "CALLS PRESENT" board. The QSL Bureau will also be in attendance for you to collect incoming cards.
Automatic Teller Machine
There is an ATM cash point located in the main grandstand which should be available after 9:00am. For those early starters requiring cash, there are ATMs located in the main street of Wyong.
