Clubhouse shutdown period 28/12/2019 – 04/01/2020
Dear Members,
We understand this is short notice, however, given the holiday period and the tireless efforts our station officer Steve VK2SKC has undergone over the years,
I would like to inform of a short 2-week break from regular club activities.
This is to allow some well deserved R&R for Steve and a good opportunity for members to have a shack day, perform some maintenance around your QTH, Maybe even activate a park?
Each Saturday without fail Steve has dedicated nearly his entire day from arriving anywhere between 9:30 – 10:00 AM and remaining at the club until the last member leaves normally around 3-4PM leaving little chance for Steve to perform his own thing.
On 28/12/2019 and 04/01/2020 the Clubhouse at Kariong will be closed with regular club activities resuming from the 11th January 2020.
Speaking of Club activities – Jaye and I have been discussing a Picnic day, A group Park activation / BBQ of the sorts.
Further details will be discussed at the next general business meeting on Saturday the 1st of February 2020.
Should you require access to the clubhouse during the above 2 dates, Please reach out to the executive team and we will attempt to accommodate this.
