Central Coast Amateur Radio Club News – April 21,2024
The club rooms at Kariong are open on Saturdays from 10:30am. As always, members and visitors are most welcome.
Next Saturday, April 27, we will be hosting our regular Show & Tell. Got something interesting to share? We’d love to see it, whether you bring the actual item in or pictures we can put up on the projector.
At the VK2RAG Somersby repeater site the 6m, D-Star, Rad-Net DMR, 2m Echolink, 70 and 23cm services are fully functional. The radio attached to the WICEN UHF MMDVM has been replaced for the time being with a Quantar unit. Currently this repeater is only doing P25 and analogue.
The club Web SDR has been discontinued.
The Weekly net is run on Thursday night at 8:00pm on the VK2RAG repeater – 146.725MHz with a 91.5Hz sub-audible tone, and on the CCARCNSW and HAM Echolink conferences. It is also live video-streamed on the club’s facebook page.
You can find out more about the CCARC, our upcoming social events and other details that we can’t tell you about here on the web at ccarc.org.au, by phone on 02 4340 2500, or on social media by searching for “Central Coast Amateur Radio Club”. Remember to give the club a “like” to follow for any updates.
