Central Coast Amateur Radio Club News – August 18, 2024
The club rooms at Kariong are open on Saturdays from 10:30am. As always, members and visitors are most welcome.
Yesterday the club conducted Foundation training and examinations. We are pleased to report that all three passed; including a 12 year old and his father. Congratulations.
At the VK2RAG Somersby repeater site the 6m, Rad-Net DMR, 2m Echolink, 70 and 23cm services are fully operational, as are the 2m and 70cm DMR and P25. An issue with the D-Star repeater has been addressed.
The Weekly net is run on Thursday night at 8:00pm on the VK2RAG repeater – 146.725MHz with a 91.5Hz sub-audible tone, and on the CCLMAQ and HAM Echolink conferences. It is also live video-streamed on the club’s facebook page.
