Central Coast Amateur Radio Club News – October 20, 2024
Next Saturday, October 26, the club will be holding an open day at the Kariong club rooms with some items for sale. A list of items is available on the club website. Sales will start at 10am. Tea and coffee will be provided; and a BBQ lunch and soft-drinks will be available for purchase. Attendees are asked to be mindful of the no-parking areas near the fire station. Members and visitors are most welcome.
At the VK2RAG Somersby repeater site the 23cm repeater is back on air. In addition, the 6m, Rad-Net DMR, 2m Echolink and 70cm services are fully operational, as are the 2m and 70cm analogue, DMR and P25 services.
The Weekly net is run on Thursday night at 8:00pm on the VK2RAG repeater – 146.725MHz with a 91.5Hz sub-audible tone, and on the CCLMAQ and HAM Echolink conferences. It is also live video-streamed on the club’s facebook page.
