Central Coast Amateur Radio Club News – January4, 2025
The club wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season and all the very best in this new year.
The club rooms at Kariong are open on Saturdays from 10:30am. As always, members and visitors are most welcome.
There will be no business meeting held in January. In lieu of it, this Saturday there will be a radio day, focusing on giving items we’ve been donated a good clean and test to see what is functioning and what is not.
The weekly net is taking a break, returning on Thursday January 15 at 8pm.
As of time of submission, all services at VK2RAG Somersby are operational with the exception of the WICEN multimode repeaters on 438.8MHZ and 147.125MHz which are administratively down until further notice.
The Club’s Weekly net is held on Thursday night at 8:00pm on the VK2RAG 2m repeater – 146.725MHz with a 91.5Hz sub-audible tone, and on the HAM Echolink conference. It is also live video-streamed on the club’s facebook page.
