1. Lots of bargains on members sales page!
When did you last check the members sales page on this website?
If you aren’t checking on a regular basis you will miss out on some great bargains! Both Jason VK2WAR and Phil VK2WPC have supplied new items this last week – check the page from the sales link in the bar at the top of the page or click here before you miss out!

2. CCARC PICNIC and Radio at Mount Elliot.
It was a beautiful day up at Mt Elliot today, not too hot with a slight breeze from time to time.
Unfortunately many members had other commitments and were unable to attend this social and radio event. I thank Phil VK2WPC, Jim VK2LC, Col VK2ZCO and Chris VK2YY for making the trip up the hill.
As there were so few people I didn’t cut the cake or cook the sausages that I had brought up so this turned into a radio and antenna testing action as well as operating a Summits on the Air station.
Here are a few photos from the morning – the Kookaburra seemed very interested in what we were doing!

Doug VK2MDC is looking for operators the Scout’s Jamboree on the Air on the 19th. and 20th. of October (at East Gosford scout hall). Please contact Doug if you can help with this events.
