Clubhouse remain closed
The Executive Committee of the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club, Inc. has decided that the Clubhouse remain closed until Saturday 5 February due to the rapid onset of the omicron variant of Covid-19. This strain spreads easily and can be caught by vaccinated people.
This decision has been taken reluctantly but the increased risk of transmission makes it a prudent step in the public interest.
The summer rush of cases will pass through and we will see how good/bad it becomes, and, additionally, how Government reacts and implements further changes to Public Health Orders.
We would encourage you to continue taking recommended precautions to protect yourselves and your loved ones.
Further announcements as to reopening and Club meetings will be made as the situation becomes clearer.
