Central Coast Amateur Radio Club News
It’s only three weeks to Mayham. Sunday May 1. Along with a great range of traders, exhibitors, lectures, and examinations for both Australian and US Qualifications; there will also be fox hunts and a Meet & Greet on the Saturday.
This years raffle has some great prizes. While there will be tickets available at the event, all online tickets have already been snapped up.
• First place prize is a Yaesu FTDX10
• Second place prize is an AnyTone AT-D878UV-two Plus VHF/UHF HT and an AnyTone AT-778UV
UHF/VHF mobile radio.
• Third place prize is a NanoVNO and RF Demo Kit
An MMDVM hotspot will also be on offer as first prize in the fox hunt, which is now open for preregistration through the Mayham web page. The pedestrian fox hunt will be a four transmitter event!

At the VK2RAG Somersby repeater site, the D-Star, Rad-Net DMR and 2m Echolink services are fully
functional. Brand Meister DMR and 70cm Echolink and IRLP are still having problems.
The club has a Web SDR at Somersby. Websdr.ccarc.org.au is configured to listen on 6 metres, 2 metres, 70centimetres and 23 centimetres.
The daily morning tea net is held at 10:00am each morning and after the broadcast on Sundays. On the VK2RAG repeater – 146.725 MHz with 91.5Hz tone, and on echolink through the HAM and CCARC echolink conferences.
The Thursday evening net is held at 8:00pm on the same repeater and echolink conferences.
Adrian VK2ABS, hosts fortnightly SSTV net on the Club’s 2 Meter WICEN repeater; 147.125 MHz with 91.5
Hz tone, consisting of 2-3 rounds. Adrian has had a large amount of support from other members and would love to see you drop in. The next net is scheduled for Friday the 15th of April at 7:30 PM.
Both of these nets are also video streamed live to the club’s Facebook page and recordings can be found in the “Videos” section.

VK2RAG 146.725 with 91.5Hz tone and echolink through the CCARCNSW and HAM Conferences
• The Morning Tea Net is held Daily at 10am and following the Broadcast on Sundays.
• The Weekly 2m Net is held on Thursday night at 8pm.
The SSTV Net is held every second Friday on the Club’s 2 Meter WICEN repeater 147.125 MHz with a 91.5 Hz
tone. The next net will be held April 15th.
