Friday the 13th of March the clubs VK2RAG repeater relayed an international Space Station contact session with the Australian Air League – South Australia Wing at 08:56 UTC, that is 7:56PM AEST. This stream was broadcast not only via the local repeater, but also out live to Facebook. If you missed the broadcast, be sure to check it out on both the clubs Facebook page & YouTube channel. The Club is seeking participants for the John Moyle Memorial Field Day on the 21st March to setup a portable station at Mount Elliott, this is a great opportunity for those who have not experienced portable work and the simplicity of an end fed wire antenna.
