The CCARC Held 3 Fox Hunts today which were a success, 2 Mobile and 1 Pedestrian hunt with a great adventure for those involved. A thanks to Col VK2ZCO for leading the event and the volunteers from the CCARC for operating as Marshalls.

The Club thanks those who attended the informal meet and greet this evening at the local tavern and it was great to put some faces to the callsigns that are often heard on the bands.

The club is all set for tomorrows Field day and they have a few last-minute updates.

The Traders Marquee is a full house with all locations filled with over 15 traders in attendance.

Both of the lecture rooms have a full schedule, so please ensure you check over the field day website, along with the displays throughout the venue outlining the day’s activities, as well as the Field Day Program guide on the day so you can schedule your day accordingly.

The Howarth street entry will be open for traders and exhibitors from 6:00 AM, Please ensure you do not block the road and park as far left as possible with no sales permitted before 8:30 AM.

The Rose Street entry for general public will be open from 8:00 AM for Pre-sales with the main doors opening at 8:30 AM. Please remember that both gates are cash only and no EFTPOS facilities are available at the gate. Exact change of $15 in the morning is very much appreciated if possible. Please listen to announcements at the entry gate.

There will be 2 ATM’s on site that are prepped and ready to go, Both VK and US examinations are full steam ahead

The Raffle prize will be drawn at 1:00 PM sharp. If you win, you can take your new toy home with you!

For the early starters on the day, The Field day team will have a Coffee & food Van available from 6:00 AM who will be able to keep you warm with some tasty treats.

For the folks who will be bringing their family along, there will be a Jumping Castle and mechanical Melt down ride along with some tasty carnival treats such as fairy floss and snow cones.

Remember to keep an eye on the weather forecast and bring a brolly just in case!
