VK2EH/P portable operation this weekend canceled.

Due to the high temperatures and chance of bush fires  this weekend, the decision has been made not to operate portable in the VHF-UHF Fieldday contest and the team will be instead operating VK2AFY as a “home station” in the contest for a few hours Saturday afternoon from the club rooms.

There is still some set up work to do including installing at least one temporary mast to take additional antennas, so those who wish to help set up and operate are welcome at the club rooms from 10am through to most likely about 5pm.

Lets have some fun but stay safe.
