AGM 2020
The Executive team wish to announce the Annual General Meeting (Club AGM) is to be held on Saturday the 15th August 2020 at the Kariong Clubhouse from 1300hrs. Steve (VK2SKC) our resident MasterChef will commence the BBQ from 1200 noon; club doors will open from 1030hrs. if there is one meeting you attend a year, it should be this one! The Club rooms are accessible by bus, with a stop just opposite Dandaloo St, serviced by the route 34 bus from Gosford railway station every hour.
The Annual General meeting will be available both via face to face on the club premise and via Video Conference where details will be supplied closer to the date.
At Present, Social distancing mandates a maximum of 10 occupants within the clubs primary meeting room and 4 occupants within the club radio room.
Pending weather, the club will try to accommodate external parties within the undercover area outside via video link, however, space will be limited under the four-square meter rule.
For ALL Current Executives and Sub Committee – Please be advised, network/email access will be disabled during the AGM, new details will be shared with the respective elected committee members proceeding the meeting. Please finalise your communications before the morning of the AGM to ensure nothing is left out.
Please note, this does not impact your club membership provided email alias, only your provided committee mailbox respective to the role.
For all Members – I encourage you to attend, vote and consider what you can offer to the club (even small!). For people considering career options/changes or younger members moving into careers, committee membership is a recognised role in a non-for-profit organisation and can be reflected on a CV as an officer bearer and/or as a reference. The club can offer skillsets that will aid both the club and you with personal gain. Remember, a club cannot operate with the effort of its members. Many hands make light work and help promote our beloved hobby!
Nomination forms for members who wish to vote by proxy have been emailed out and are available in the club rooms.
Please ensure these are sent to the secretary@ccarc.org.au by 1200 noon AEST Friday the 14th August. Applications received after this time will not be considered for vote.
