1. JOHN MOYLE FIELD DAY
The John Moyle Field Day is a couple of weeks away 15th & 16th March 0100 UTC, Doug VK2MDC is organizing a team and also Dave VK2JDH is organizing his usual team to Mt. Allyn with Col VK2KCM, can those that can join in please let Doug VK2MDC know that they wish to join in & represent the CCARC.
2. MEETING & BBQ & FAREWELL
Saturday 1st March we will have a get together to farewell Ed VK2JI starting at 1100. There will be a BBQ lunch. The monthly business meeting will follow at 1300. To be followed by cakes & dessert. Farewell Ed & Gabriele.
3. NEW MEMBERS
The club welcomes 3 new members: Dan VK2FAEJ, Ryan VK2FRTS, Sam VK2FAEL.
4. COl VK2ZCO INTERVIEW
Col VK2ZCO was interviewed by radio station 2UE last week and was able to give an excellent accounting of Amateur Radio. For those who missed it here is a recording.
5. WYONG FIELD DAY
Wyong Field Day Done & Dusted. The weather was kind to us this year. Have you recovered yet? Here are some photos from Seminars where I was working. I will post more in next weeks Newsletter when photos become available.

I have taken over the publicity officer and CCARC NEWS editor roles, assisted by Keith VK2HKM.
I aim to keep up to the high standard set by the outgoing Publicity Officer Ed VK2JI, and thank him for his assistance & wish him all the best for the future.
I will rely on input from you other members, so if you are doing anything or know of anything newsworthy, please let me know so that I can let the whole club know, either by including in a newsletter, broadcast, or emailing direct.
